diazote
The evolution of the relationship between two elements triggered by the simplicity of a first movement. Sometimes the activity of one causes an impact on the other’s activity. Other times, the relationship seems completely random, created by chance. And other times, the existence of one depends on the existence of the other. Listening, repetition and purity of gesture framed by a defined space; a pendulum movement which tells the natural and inexorable process of time passing. Time revealing relationships with their invisible, imperceptible connections, which, however, maintain the tension of space: it advances, rises, descends, turns...it transforms and it starts again.
“DIAZOTE” is a choreographic project for two performers analysing different types of relationships (causal relationship, random relationship, correlation), in order to take a zoomed and meditative gaze at a reality often unnoticed in the dynamics of everyday life, but which lives in the essence of our interactions. |
